Join us for a glass of wine or juice at 6pm followed by the 2017 Nature and Place Competition winners reading their winning poems at 7pm.
Jemma Borg - 1st Prize of £1000 for ‘Marsh Thistle’
Martin Figura - 2nd Prize of £500 – for ‘Harold Wilson Rows Towards Bishop Rock’
Polly Atkin - 3rd Prize of A place on a creative writing course at Ty Newydd for ‘Habitats’
Sophie F Baker - Additional Prize of a personal tour with Mark Cocker of his most cherished wildlife places in East Anglia for ‘Have I already told you this?’
Sue Norton - Additional Prize of a personal tour with Nick Davies of Wicken Fen for ‘The Golden Panamanian Frog Waves To Us’
This will be followed by Kathleen Jamie, this year's judge, reading her poems.
