Gordon Marsden is a Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Blackpool South since 1997. He is currently Shadow Minister for Higher Education, Further Education and Skills.

This event is part of the Madingley Conversations series of talks on 'The Future of Lifelong Learning'. It takes place at Madingley Hall, home of the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) – a pioneering centre for personal enrichment and professional development continuing education.

The event will take the form of a lecture followed by a question and answer session, lasting around one hour in total. This will be followed by a buffet reception where you can meet the speaker and chat with other members of the audience.

Cost: Free (lecture only) / £10 (lecture + reception)
