Frontiers for life in Antarctica
Fri 13 March 2020
Wolfson College
Part of 'Wolfson Explores Borders' 2020
Leading polar marine biologist Professor Lloyd Peck, British Antarctic Survey and Fellow of Wolfson College, works at the forefront of investigation into animal adaptations in extreme environments. His current interests are in how adaptation to specific environments affects animals' abilities to respond to change, and how to get the best data to make these evaluations. Having conducted nearly 30 seasons of research in the Antarctic, he offers fascinating insights into how species survive and thrive in the coldest, driest, windiest, most isolated place on earth.
