In this session, you will be introduced to the MATLAB environment and programming language. We will discuss the basic operations and core concepts that form the building blocks of any scientific program. The session is targeted at those who are new or have little experience with MATLAB.
Highlights of the workshop include:

Introduction to MATLAB programming - Basic operations and data types
Introduction to Linear Algebra - vector and matrix operations and manipulations
Introduction to data visualisation and the plot function.

We will also show how to access further complementary training resources that are included in the University of Cambridge license, including the self-paced online courses delivered through MATLAB academy.
