Adult Drawing Workshop

Sat 30 June 2018

Kettle's Yard House and Gallery

Develop your drawing skills and techniques with our artist led drawing day.

Respond to themes of body and light explored by Antony Gormley and artists in our collection.

Start the day in the House collecting sketches from the objects on display and learning about how artists within the Kettle’s Yard collection build up layers of tone and depth in their work. Back in the studio, experiment with manipulating light and shadow to create drawings inspired by the collections. Try out different mediums and surfaces such as inks, dyes, homemade pigments, light boxes and projectors to generate ideas for longer projects in the afternooon.

Tickets are £80 (£75 concessions) including lunch, booking required.

Suitable for all abilities.

Concessions apply to full time students aged 16+ and those receiving income benefits.
