Illustrating Winter Flowers

Botanic Garden
Choose from a variety of freshly cut specimens, including hellebores and snowdrops from the collection at the Garden, and paint your own botanical plate of these well-known winter favourites. Georita will demonstrate all the stages in drawing, designing and painting a botanical watercolour, as well as giving whole class demonstrations and help through individual tuition. The course will also include a short illustrated talk looking at images of the work of famous illustrators who have tackled similar subjects. Beginners and those who are more experienced are all welcome.
