Historic Library Reopens in Cambridge

HM Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Hugh Duberly CBE, will open the new Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide on Saturday 25th October. Starting at 10 a.m. there will be a programme of live West African music, talks, and prayers in Swahili, Maori and other languages, reflecting the international character of the Centre.
Visiting scholars include Dr Helen Nambalirwa Nkabala from Uganda, who will be speaking at the Open Day about the political and religious background to the militant movement, The Lord’s Resistance Army. Cambridge students who have travelled with the Encounter scheme, run by the Centre, will also be talking about their experiences.
The Open Day runs from 10a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday 25th October at Westminster College.
