Directed by Claudio Cavina, one of Europe's most celebrated countertenors, La Venexia have established themselves as the foremost interpreters of the Italian Baroque repertory. Their recordings of Monteverdi (including all the operas and complete madrigals) have won almost every major prize available and a chorus of critical acclaim.
The Telegraph praised their 'truly thrilling performances that grip the attention from the first note to the last'.
The Guardian described their recording of the Monteverdi Sixth Book of Madrigals as 'peerless...: alert to every shade of meaning in the text, and to every twist in the harmony'.

Seating in the Trinity Chapel is unreserved but divided into two parts - Band A, closer to the stage, and Band B, further away.
