The diversity of British field crops

Botanic Garden

The session with agricultural botanist and Saffron grower Sally Francis, will teach you how to identify crops from both afar and close up, giving you skills to use while out walking and enjoying the countryside. You will also gain an appreciation of the origin and history of the main farm crops in the UK and how they are exploited commercially.
