Two pints of lager and a festival of Cambridge science

Mon 18 May 2015 - Wed 20 May 2015

Participating pubs across Cambridge

For three evenings in May, pubs across Cambridge will be hosting the world’s largest festival of public science lectures, Pint of Science. Local scientists will be explaining their cutting-edge research during a total of 18 events, which will feature topics as varied as ‘artificial consciousness’, ‘how to achieve a social life after death’ and ’biological solar panels’.

This is not your average science lecture! Questions, debates and audience participation are actively encouraged and no scientific background is necessary.

Come along to hear some amazing talks, watch live demonstrations, try your hand at some fun quizzes and question our speakers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere – all while enjoying your very own pint of ‘Science’, our bespoke beer available at selected locations!

Cost: £3
