International education: interpretation, importance and impact - Cambridge Assessment conference 2014
Wed 15 October 2014
Downing College
There is no doubt that internationally-focused education is rising up the agenda of governments world-wide.
While employers call for global learning experiences as part of a rounded education across various disciplines, individual countries struggle to find space for an international agenda within their domestic curricula.
The key aim of the Cambridge Assessment Conference 2014 therefore is to discuss and develop a rationale for an international education agenda across the world by:
- understanding what international education means in different contexts
- learning about differing focuses and pressures in education in different cultures
- discussing the impact of international education on governments, education providers and learners worldwide.
During the day we will be joined live by delegates from India, South Africa, Argentina and Mexico. Book your place and make your voice heard at this truly international debate.
Cost: £250
