Harrington, Vanderbilt University, who will describe how executions took place in Early Modern Europe and read excerpts from his book The Faithful Executioner - the extraordinary diary of a real-life seventeenth-century German executioner; with a chance to see the Fitzwilliam's Executioner's Sword outside its glass case.
