Part of Wolfson Explores Borders'2020
Professor James Wood, Head of Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fellow of Wolfson College, explores over a decade of collaborative investigations of diseases thought to be transmitted between animals and humans (so called ‘zoonoses’) in sub-Saharan Africa. He highlights the importance of working with local experts in different settings and the benefits to Cambridge science, as well as to that of African collaborators supported by the Cambridge-Africa programme.
