Biodiver-city: nature in your everyday life
Thu 14 March 2019
Mill Lane Lecture Rooms
This session looks at biodiversity in urban environments. We’ll be discussing urban ecology and the nature we see in our day-to-day lives, using drawing to express the natural world we experience and help us think about what we can do to see more of it and finishing with advice on the actions we can take to see more urban biodiversity.
Dr Amy Munro Faure of the University of Cambridge Environment and Energy section will host this event. Amy coordinates the Living Laboratory for Sustainability, a programme within the University that gives students an opportunity to work on real-world sustainability problems and provides an avenue for University academics to inform University sustainability action in areas such as Sustainable Food, Biodiversity and Circular Economy.
