NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre Public Open Evening
Mon 16 October 2017
Cancer Research UK, Cambridge Institute
This evening will showcase the pioneering health research being developed in Cambridge for patients and the NHS and we hope you will join us.
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is a £114m collaboration between Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and the University of Cambridge. Helping to accelerate healthcare innovation by providing infrastructure for academics to work alongside clinicians at CUH. Our aim is to find and develop better treatments for the benefit of patients and healthcare.
At our open evening you can discover how the NIHR Cambridge BRC plays an integral part in health research on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
You'll have the opportunity to meet researchers and hear all about their latest research studies. Find out why Cambridge is at the forefront of tackling major health challenges such as cancer, obesity, respiratory disease and dementia. Also discover how you can get involved in health research.
If you're interested in finding out more about research going on at your local hospital, this evening will be of interest to you.
Light refreshments (tea/coffee and biscuits) are available on arrival and during the exhibition.
