'Towards One World': seminar with HE Judge CG Weeramantry

The ‘Towards One World’ International Law Seminar will take place from 4pm – 6pm in the Finley Library of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, at 5 Cranmer Road, Cambridge UK on Friday 21 November, 2014. It will include a keynote speech by Judge Weeramantry, and a small legal experts panel commenting on progress in international law over recent decades, and the influence of the Judge’s works on sustainable development, human rights, peace and disarmament, through two decades of successive decisions in international treaty negotiations, principles and practice, and dispute settlement.

A special reception to launch HR Judge Weeramantry’s new book, Towards One World, will take place from 6pm – 7pm, directly afterwards in the Old Library and Hall of the Lauterpacht Centre, with light refreshments, champagne and chocolate.
