Lost: an evening with Issam Kourbaj and Ruth Padel
Wed 17 May 2017
Museum of Classical Archaeology
Uncover the stories behind our exhibition, Lost, and explore the works after-hours with a glass of wine. As part of Museums at Night, poet, classicist and Hellenophile Ruth Padel joins Syrian artist Issam Kourbaj to present Lost.
Padel will read a new poem, "Lesbos 2015", influenced by her meetings on the island of Lesbos both with the inhabitants and with some of the thousands of Syrians who have fled there.
