Robert Chote is Chairman of the Office for Budget Responsibility, the UK's official fiscal watchdog. Previously he served as Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, as an advisor to senior management at the International Monetary Fund and as Economics Editor of the Financial Times.
Content: The seminar will discuss the evolution of the UK's public finances since the outbreak of the recession and the financial crisis, and the prospects for the next five years.
