Professor of International History at Oxford, and Warden of St Antony's College, Margaret MacMillan is a frequent commentator in the media on historical issues and current affairs. Her most recent book, 'The War That Ended Peace', was described by the Independent newspaper as 'vivid,gripping and scholarly'. She sits on the boards of organisations including the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, International History, First World War Studies and the Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
