“Sonic Travel” with Professor Trevor Cox
Professor Cox has published widely on the topic of sound, and maintains a blog. He is interested in architectural acoustics, signal processing and audio perception. At the moment, he is working with the BBC on broadcast audio for their Media City in Salford. His popular science book Sonic Wonderland appeared in 2014. In his lecture he will explain his particular interest in sound, launching the year-long Festival of Sound at Magdalene College. Open to all, free of charge.
