Social Sciences: an insight

In these sessions, you will be introduced to contemporary debates in sociology, politics and psychology by leading scholars from the University of Cambridge.

Throughout the day school, the key concepts, theories and methods of the social sciences will be examined to illustrate how social scientists have tried to understand the relationship between the individual and society. Fundamental differences between sociology, politics and psychology will also be examined. In addition, you will be introduced to the basic principles and practices of coaching to illustrate how social scientific ideas may be deployed in every day life, all under the guidance of a number of ICE lecturers.

Tea, coffee and a light sandwich lunch are included in the price.
