The award winning Tesla Quartet perform a folk-inspired programme in Cambridge; Haydn’s ‘Zingarese’ or gypsy minuet, which shows the composer’s love of Hungarian folk music, Barto?k’s ‘String Quartet No.6’ which draws on the folksong modality that is typical of his late style and Dvo?a?k’s final ‘String Quartet’, influenced by Czech folk melodies.
