Lucy Cavendish Singers: Blood and Gold

Part of Cambridge University’s Festival of Ideas, this programme is inspired by the Festival theme of 'Power and Resistance'. Our songs are chosen from a wide range of styles to create a dramatic and moving experience for the audience. Small groups and solos will be accompanied by harp, lute or double bass, with full choir pieces sung a capella.

The concert will take place in the theatre of the Queens’ Building of Emmanuel College, voted Building of the Year when it was opened in 1995. A post-concert reception will be held in the adjoining Harrods Room, a striking venue with stunning views over the city.
