Emmanuel College

Students of the Baroque Music Summer School; members of The Parley of Instruments, directed by Peter Holman and Philip Thorby

The music-making at the Dresden Court was of such quality that musicians flocked there from all over Europe, and many composers including Vivaldi, Handel and Bach composed for the famous singers and instrumentalists there. This concert, presenting music which the summer school participants will have studied during the preceding week, will include choral and instrumental works by Schütz, Hasse, Lotti and Fasch; music by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and Zelenka may also be included.

Cost: £12, £10
