Workshop: Writing Historical Fiction
Sun 3 September 2017
Institute of Continuing Education
Have you ever wondered how novelists create convincing historical worlds? Breathe life into your writing in this session that starts with a short talk, close reading and examples from published novels. Then, after a cup of tea or coffee, you can explore you own writing with novelist and creative writing tutor, Elizabeth Speller.
This historical fiction session is designed to complement the Chapterhouse Theatre performance of Pride and Prejudice at 4.30pm. Eighteen spaces are available at £15, or £12 if you have also booked for the theatre production.
This event is part of the ICE Summer Festival. Find out more at www.ice.cam.ac.uk/SummerFestival
