Beethoven Violin Sonatas (1): Krysia Osostowicz and Daniel Tong

Acclaimed chamber musicians Krysia Osostowicz (violin) and Daniel Tong (piano) perform all of Beethoven’s ten violin sonatas, plus miniature companion pieces written by contemporary composers over a series of four concerts on 8th and 9th March, 13th and 14th May.
Concert 8th March: THE KREUTZER: Jonathan Dove - Ludwig Games; Beethoven - Sonata no 1 in D, op 12/1; Peter Ash - A Major Chase; Beethoven - Sonata no 2 in A, op 12/2. Interval. Beethoven - Sonata no 9 in A, op 47 "Kreutzer". Matthew Taylor - Tarantella Furiosa.
Part of the Beethoven2020 Festival taking place in Cambridge throughout 2020 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Visit https://www.beethoven2020.co.uk for more information.
