The Fitzwilliam Museum is pleased to announce a day of 40-minute talks on "Religion in the Ancient World", to be held in conjunction with the Glanville Lecture 2018. Speakers will be Dr Selena Wisnom (Lecturer in Assyriology, Cambridge University); Professor Dr Jan Assmann, Hon Professor at the University of Konstanz, Visiting Professor at the University of Luzern, Emeritus Professor at the University of Heidelberg); Professor John Tait (Emeritus Professor of Egyptology, UCL Institute of Egyptology); Professor Tim Whitmarsh (A.G. Leventis Professor of Greek Culture, Cambridge University); Dr Simon Gathercole (Reader in New Testament Studies, Cambridge University); and Dr Sophie Lunn-Rockliffe (Lecturer in Patristics, Cambridge University).
