Graham Ross returns to conduct the Sinfonia in Poulenc’s setting of Jean de Brunhoff’s much-loved story of Babar, the baby elephant.
The evening, which is particularly aimed at young people, begins with another French classic, Gabriel Fauré’s Masques et Bergamasques suite, followed by Mozart’s Fourth Horn Concerto.
A special performance for children, with narration, of Poulenc's The Story of Babar, the Little Elephant takes place at 3.45 pm.
