The House Sparrow survey of Cambridge
Thu 24 October 2013
Anglia Ruskin University
Bob Jarman will talk about reasons why House Sparrows have declined throughout Western Europe including the UK. Is it predation, nest site availability, habitat destruction? This survey comes up with some surprising conclusions, local anecdotes from the last 50 years and fascinating records from under-recorded parts of Cambridge City to support recent observations.
Cost: £1, free
