The Academy of Great St. Mary's orchestral and choral concert to commemorate the Quincentenary of the start of the Reformation in Europe. Mendelssohn: Reformation Symphony, Pounds: The Martyrdom of Latimer, Vaughan Williams: Fantasia on a theme by ThomasTallis, and choral works by Luther, Walther, White, Byrd, Tallis, Purcell and J S Bach conducted by Samuel Hayes and Benedict Todd.
