International Women's Day 2018

Fri 9 March 2018

St Catharine's College

This year's lecture will be presented by Dr Rachel Fenton, Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Exeter. Dr Fenton will speak about her involvement in The Intervention Initiative, an evidence-based bystander intervention programme and toolkit for the prevention of sexual and domestic violence in UK university settings.

Rachel has a long-standing research interest in violence against women, with many publications about sexual offences and issues relating to gender and the law and has spoken widely on the topic. She has recently been appointed as the Speak Out Guardian for the University of Exeter academic staff.

Everyone is welcome to attend and a buffet lunch and refreshments will be available after the lecture.
