Public Lecture: Green urbanism and sustainable technologies in Rwanda
by Tim Hall of Light Earth Designs

The talk will cover work and research set within the rapidly urbanising and developing city of Kigali.

•Urban planning of high density housing: which integrates green infrastructure to create cohesive neighbourhoods that respect both the challenging topography and traditional living patterns.

•Piloting of sustainable 'home grown' building technological solutions on projects of various sizes - that increases the capacity of the local building industry whilst contributing to job creation and economic development.

We will show a selection of projects - all interlinked - as part of our agenda to contribute to the sustainable development of Rwanda.

Cost: Free
