The Cambridge Summer Music Festival brings four new exciting acts to
the Botanic Garden's July Wednesday late night openings this year

Cambridge University Botanic Garden will open its gates late on Wednesday evenings throughout July for the Sounds Green series of relaxed, sociable picnic proms in the Garden. Music will begin at 6.15pm, lasting one hour, with the Garden closing promptly at 8pm.
Further flavour will be added to the music line up with food and drink provided by
The Garden Café, serving drinks which will capture the spirit of the music: Pinskster gin with She’Koyokh; real ale with Barokksolistene’s Alehouse Sessions; colourful cocktails with Classico Latino’s music and Real Ale with Imar’s music. Pimms and soft drinks will also be on offer alongside a `summer selection’ of food to include: a BBQ offering homemade burgers, stilton and mushroom burgers, hot dogs; nibbles; antipasti; ice creams and fresh strawberries - all to be served on the Garden’s Main Lawn. Visitors are also welcome to picnic and encouraged to bring along a small folding chair or cushion to sit on and check the weather forecast to see if a brolly and raincoat may be required for the English summer.

Cost: Normal Garden admission applies and although there is no extra charge to attend Sounds Green, donations are invited to the musicians’ performance fees.
