With Dr Nina Lübbren, Anglia Ruskin University.
Dr Lübbren's research interests are in the area of nineteenth-century European art, in particular landscape and academic painting. She is the author of Rural Artists' Colonies in Europe, 1870-1910 (Manchester University Press, 2001) and the co-editor of Visual Culture and Tourism (Berg, 2003). In 2002-03, Dr Lübbren was the recipient of a Leverhulme Research Fellowship. She is currently writing a book on visual narrative in nineteenth-century painting.
Dr Lübbren is a member of the Association of Art Historians and the Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art.
At Anglia Ruskin University, she teaches undergraduate modules in the History and Theory of Cinema, and in the Aesthetics of Film as Art. She also teaches on the MA in Film Studies.
Dr Lübbren welcomes research students in the area of nineteenth-century and early-twentieth-century art, and in the area of visual narratives.
