MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology: Family-friendly Open Day
Sat 17 June 2017
MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology
The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, a world-leading research institute located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, will be opening its doors to all in a special one-off event on Saturday 17 June as part of the MRC’s Festival of Medical Research.
During the day you can take a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the state-of-the-art building, talk to scientists and support staff about their ground-breaking work and learn more about the cutting-edge research through an exciting programme of talks (aimed at non-scientists). There will also be an amazing range of hands-on activities for children, including a Nobel treasure hunt, the chance to view your own cells under a microscope and extract DNA from fruit!
Whether you are six, sixteen or sixty, there will be something for everyone!
