Mapping Cambridge: A visual story of the city told through maps from the University Library collections

In celebration of its 600th anniversary, the University Library is offering the opportunity to explore the rich history of Cambridge in this Open Cambridge event. This will be done in a unique way, through the extensive collection of historical maps held by the University Library. The event provides a rare chance to see some of the exciting and valuable treasures which provide an impressive visual embodiment of the history of our city.

Over a million maps, atlases and books on cartography are included in our remarkable collections. This event provides a chance to see a specially curated display of material revealing the cartographic history of Cambridge.

Drop-in session: 10:00 - 16:00. No need to book. All ages, full access.
