Jonathan Bloxham has been described, by Paavo Järvi no less, as a conductor of “accomplished technique, innate musicianship, natural rapport with orchestras and a deep knowledge and understanding of the symphonic repertoire” and he brings all this, and more, to bare on a truly epic programme.

Beethoven’s ‘Eroica’ marks a paradigm shift, ushering in the Romantic period with its unparalleled heights of emotion and compositional virtuosity.
