Wintercomfort summer event: Trinity hall old library and gardens
Wed 4 July 2012
Trinity Hall
The Old Library is the jewel in the crown of Trinity Hall and one of the hidden gems of Cambridge. Built in c.1590, it is the oldest library in Cambridge still in its original setting.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to gain access to one of only a few remaining chained libraries in Britain - so make sure to book in advance!
The evening will begin with a glass of Pimms and a walk around the spectacular Trinity Hall gardens, followed by a tour of the special collections of rare books and manuscripts at the famous chained library.
Cost: £14
