Public open evenings at the Institute of Astronomy

A researcher from the department will give a half-hour talk about Astronomy starting promptly at 7.15pm. This is then followed by a public observing session on the observatory lawns, using both historical and modern telescopes on site if (and only if!) the weather is clear.

If you wish to only attend the observing, you are welcome at the telescopes only after 7.45pm.
