Health Guidelines
Guidelines covering a range of health matters are issued from time to time by the University Council, through the Registrary, and by various other bodies and committees that advise the collegiate University on health issues.
The advisory committees and groups concerned with health matters include:
- Committee of Management of the University Health Services (which has oversight of the Counselling Service and Dental Service)
- Executive Committee of the University Counselling Service
- HIV and Sexual Health Working Group
- Advisory Group on Communicable Diseases
These bodies are made up of a mixture of staff and students from the University and the Colleges; there is also relevant representation from health organisations, governmental and external bodies (Primary Care Trust; Health Protection Agency; national, regional and local agencies, etc.), and from medical practitioners and health professionals. Secretariat for this activity is provided by the University Offices.
