Large tiered lecture theatre, used by a variety of departments and for conferences.
Location
On podium of New Museums Site, near Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.
Physical Access
- Large flight of stairs with thin metal handrail to podium level, then four more steps into theatre. Wheelchair access via platform lift to right of Metallurgy, then through Metallurgy department and out to bottom of theatre. Arrange in advance.
- Some space for wheelchairs at the front of the theatre.
Visual Impairments
Full audio-visual system in place with large screen, recently upgraded.
Hearing Impairments
Induction loop installed.
