General Information

Small department, with around 13 MPhil students. Teaching takes place at a variety of locations, including Mill Lane Lecture Rooms and the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages.

Physical Access

Entrances

Several steps to main entrance of 17 Mill Lane, with handrail. Wheelchair access at rear, where there is a platform lift and automatic door operated by proximity card.

Lifts and stairs

Lift to all floors. Stairs all have continuous handrails.

Seminar/teaching rooms

Teaching takes place at various locations — check accessibility in advance. All teaching areas in 17 Mill Lane are accessible for wheelchair users.

Library

Library on upper gallery of Mill Lane Library. Access is difficult for those with mobility problems, but arrangements could be made.
