New Electronic Timesheet System

Posted 10 September 2012

From September 2012, the DRC will be working in partnership with Randstad HR Solutions to provide an electronic timesheet service to all students in receipt of NMA support coordinated via the DRC. The DRC will no longer be using paper timesheets, and all hours must be approved via Randstad's electronic Opus system. Students will receive an email each week from their NMA(s) with a website link and an authorisation code. Simply follow the link, enter the authorisation code, and a list of all hours worked by the NMAs will display for approval.

We ask all students and NMAs to read the appropriate guide below as this provides full details of how to raise timesheets and approve hours via the Randstad electronic Opus system.

There are also online video tutorials that provide step-by-step guidance on how to use the Opus system, which we recommend for both students and NMAs.

We hope that students and NMAs will find the electronic system straightforward to use. If you have any questions at all about the system, please do not hesitate to contact the DRC. We are all happy to help!

Representatives from Student Finance England and the Student Loans Company have issued a warning concerning emails that falsely claim to come from DirectGov. A copy of this email can be viewed using the link below.

Student Finance England and the Student Loans Company caution students not to reply to these emails. Students are urged not to give out their bank details or personal information until they are certain that the request for that information is legitimate.

If you have any questions or concerns about communication regarding your funding or Disabled Students' Allowances, please contact the DRC for further guidance.
