Further to the Notice published on 27 September 2017 (Reporter, 6477, 2017–18, p. 13), the Faculty Board of Clinical Medicine gives notice that, with effect from the examinations to be held in the 2019–20 academic year, the word count for Paper 1 – Critical Appraisal, shall be increased from 500 words to 1,000 words. The scheme of examination shall therefore be as follows:
Paper 1 – Critical appraisal paper (5%)
Candidates will be required to review a published research paper before then providing a 1,000-word report.
Full details of the examination can be obtained in the course handbook, copies of which will be sent to candidates before the start of the Michaelmas Term.
