The Vice-Chancellor invites those qualified under the regulations for Discussions (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 105) to attend a Discussion in the Senate-House, on Tuesday, 6 November 2018 at 2 p.m., for the discussion of:

1. Report of the Council, dated 15 October 2018, on the use of external finance in accordance with the authority granted by Grace 2 of 10 May 2018 (Reporter, 6522, 2018–19, p. 63).

Elections to the Council

The Vice-Chancellor reminds members of the University that nominations for candidates for election to the University Council in classes (a), (b), and (c), submitted in accordance with the Notice published on 3 October 2018 (Reporter, 6520, 2018–19, p. 23), should be received by the Registrary not later than 12 noon on Friday, 9 November 2018. Nominations will be published on the Senate-House Noticeboard as they are received, with the complete list of nominations published in the Reporter on Wednesday, 14 November 2018.

Consultation on Discussions: comments by 31 October 2018

Further to the Notice published on 25 July 2018 (Reporter, 6516, 2017–18, p. 842), members of the University are reminded that comments regarding the options for changes to the arrangements for Discussions, which are being put forward for consultation by the Governance Review Working Group, should be sent by email to consultationresponses@admin.cam.ac.uk by Wednesday, 31 October 2018.
