Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 19 July 2017

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 103) will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 28 July 2017.

1. That approval be given for the divestment of land and buildings as shown on the plan attached to the Council’s Notice dated 17 July 2017.1

2. That the Table of Fees attached to the regulations for University Composition Fees (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 150) be amended for 2017–18 and 2018–19 as set out in the Schedule to the Council’s Notice dated 17 July 2017 (p. 759).

3. That the recommendations in paragraph 9 of the Report of the General Board, dated 7 June 2017, on the re-establishment of a Department of Social Anthropology, and the renaming of the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology (Reporter, 6469, 2016–17, p. 653) be approved.2

4. That the recommendations in paragraph 6 of the First-stage Report of the Council, dated 26 June 2017, on the alteration and refurbishment of two buildings on the Old Addenbrooke’s site (Reporter, 2016–17, 6471, p. 694) be approved.

5. That the recommendations in paragraph 6 of the Report of the Council, dated 26 June 2017, on a new geological collections building for the Department of Earth Sciences (Reporter, 2016–17, 6471, p. 697) be approved.

The Council has sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 21 July 2017:
