Preachers before the University

The following persons have been appointed in the manner prescribed by Ordinance to preach before the University during the academical year 2016–17.

Lent Term 2017
29 January	The Reverend Dr Susan Durber, formerly Principal of Westminster College, Cambridge, Minister of the United Reformed Church, Moderator of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches, and Theology Adviser to Christian Aid
26 February	The Reverend Professor Ben Quash, formerly Fellow and Dean of Peterhouse and sometime Fellow and Chaplain of Fitzwilliam College, Professor of Christianity and the Arts, King’s College, London (Hulsean Preacher)

Easter Term 2017
25 April	Professor Ian McFarland, Fellow of Selwyn College and Regius Professor of Divinity (Preacher at the Commemoration of John Mere, to be held in St Benedict’s Church at 11.45 a.m.)
7 May	Ms Claire Foster-Gilbert, Founding Director of the Westminster Abbey Institute, formerly Lay Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral and co-founder of St Paul’s Institute
4 June	Dr Belay Guta Olam, President, the Mekane Yesus Seminary, Addis Ababa (Ramsden Preacher)

Except for the Mere’s Commemoration service, University Sermons are delivered in Great St Mary’s Church at 11.15 a.m. on the Sundays stated.
