Professor Michael Selwyn Longuet Higgins, M.A., Ph.D., FRS, Fellow of Trinity College and former Royal Society Research Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, died on 26 February 2016, aged 90 years.
Dr Peter Mathias, CBE, M.A., Litt.D., D.Litt., FBA, Honorary Fellow and former Master of Downing College, Honorary Fellow of Jesus College, and Honorary Fellow of Queens' College, and Emeritus Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, died on 1 March 2016, aged 88 years.
