Cambridge University Assistants’ Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS)

11 May 2015

In 2008 the University established a trustee company, CU Pensions Trustee Limited (CUPTL), with the University as the sole member, to act as the trustee of the CPS. The CPS Managing Committee was disbanded and the directors of the CUPTL are now responsible for running the CPS. The directors of CUPTL have resolved that all remaining references to the Managing Committee should be replaced with references to the trustee in all scheme documentation, including the Articles of the CUPTL, as shown in the Schedule (see http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/reporter/2014-15/weekly/6386/CPS-Schedule). The current rules are available online at: http://www.pensions.admin.cam.ac.uk/cps/scheme-guides-archive-library.

The Council is submitting a Grace (Grace 1, p. 536) for the approval of the amendments to the rules of the Cambridge University Assistants’ Contributory Pension Scheme.
