Footnotes

  • 1See the Council’s Notice on p. 286.

  • 2The General Board proposes, with the support of the Councils of the Schools and Faculty Boards concerned, the rescission of provisions enabling a Head of Department in certain Departments to be asked to resign with effect from the date on which a newly-elected holder of a specified Professorship takes office, thereby decoupling the holding of those Headships with the named Professorships. If approved, these changes would take effect from new appointments made on or after 1 January 2015.
